Axial Vector™ Engine Presents "The Workhorse 7.2" Engine

Events and Time-Line Leading to Commercialization of Production Model on New AVEC Website Today

Jul 17, 2006

Portland, Oregon, July 17, 2006—Axial Vector™ Engine Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: AXVC) announced today on its new web site the series of steps leading up to the commercialization of its first products.

The "Workhorse 7.2" engine designed to produce 352 Horse Power and more than 1000 ft lbs of torque is a multi-fuel and low emissions engine that will be the high energy efficient spearhead that AVEC uses to power its initial market applications. The engine has been designed with particular attention to optimizing the conversion of fuel to mechanical energy.

This engine will soon be seamlessly integrated with two 100 kW "Axial Flux" generators, also developed by AVEC, to produce a 200 kW generator set (GENSET) as AVEC's first commercially marketed product.

A number of 200 kW GENSETs can be integrated through a bus bar to produce up to one megawatt or more of low cost power. Its multi-fuel capabilities include diesel, JP 5 and JP 8 (military and commercial aviation fuels) kerosene, and bio-fuels. The entire GENSET sub-systems operation is fully integrated and controlled by means of a FADEC (Full Authority Digital Electronic Control) system that will also optimize the most economical operation of the GENSET. The units will also be fitted with satellite communications (SATCOM) for remote communications, diagnostics and fine-tuning.

The "Workhorse 7.2", as a multi-purpose engine, can also be harnessed to power-up other applications including heavy trucks, 18 wheeler semi trucks and military vehicles.

Dr. Raymond Brouzes, President and CEO of Axial Vector™ Engine Corporation stated, "We are delighted that the "Workhorse 7.2" will allow us to utilize this engine as the technical and economic platform to provide to the many available applications of the Axial Vector family and intellectual property and technologies.

About Axial Vector™ Engine Corporation
Axial Vector™ Engine Corporation is a publicly traded company (OTC Bulletin Board: AXVC) that owns, develops and licenses proprietary intellectual property regarding unique internal combustion engine and generator technologies. We are applying these technologies to develop an exciting, new, smaller and lighter internal combustion engine that produces significantly greater horsepower and three times more torque on less fuel than conventional engines of similar size. The internal combustion engine as we know it today may never comply with mandated pollution standards and meet the strong demand for cleaner and far greater fuel-efficiency engines. We see the Axial Vector™ as the engine design that will comfortably meet these challenges, and more.

Key entry markets for the Axial Vector™ Engine include a number of specific military and industrial applications. Additionally, we are developing a family of Axial Flux electric power generators that shall operate in a fully integrated fashion with our unique Axial Vector™ Engine technology. The resulting GENSET will consume less fuel per unit of electrical power output (kWh) and are considerably smaller than any known internal combustion engine generators.
