Axial Vector Acquires Product Assembly and Storage Facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – October 14, 2008 - Axial Vector Energy Corporation ("AVEC") (AXVC.PK) (Frankfurt: BAE1) AVEC 15 kW generators and electric motors are now complete and ready for mass production. AVEC is excited to announce the full set up and operations of its Dubai office in The Jebel Ali Free Zone.
This close proximity to Dubai’s manufacturing and shipping facilities and subsequent leasing of assembly and manufacturing facilities brings us one step closer to making this technology available to the energy sector.
This facility will allow final assembly of Generators and Electric Motors as well as customer demonstrations of AVEC products including, multi fuel workhorse engines, gas cam engines and generators and electric motors.
Axial Vector plans to introduce and demonstrate the advantages of its generator in windmills at the prestigious Friedland Equities Global Investment Forum that will be held later this month on Monday, October 27 at the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai. With the 15kw units confirmed to be a “game changer” with the world wind energy operators the company has invited the world’s top wind energy producers to attend the conference and learn all about its technological breakthroughs.
Sanjai Chhaunker, President and CEO of AVEC stated “ In terms of economic value, the wind energy sector has now become firmly installed as one of the important players in the energy markets, with the total value of new generating equipment installed in 2006 reaching €18 billion, or US$23 billion. Our generators will allow even faster growth as the profit picture for operators increases dramatically”. He further stated “This piece of technical innovation allows windmills to be built and operated economically under much lower wind regimes and opens the door for effective tradeoffs between transmission losses and production”
The main advantage of Axial flux generators (AFGs) over conventional radial flux generators is the high power density. This compact size makes them ideal for generators in windmills. AFGs require zero torque at startup, so a control module could have the windmill spin until a desired speed to energize the AFG. If the speed drops below the set point, the AFG is de-energized and the speed increases. In this way, a windmill could produce energy in very light wind. This simple advantage opens many doors for the windmill producers as it makes areas with low wind velocity, previously thought uneconomical, now capable of being used to produce energy.
